Choosing one for your collection

Look through the blister at the stars, stripes and wheel outlines. Glare can make a thin printed line seem missing, so ask for another angle before deciding it is a defect. For a loose car, check the roof and rear fenders for chips in the white finish.

The reference card has wear around its edges. When buying a sealed example, inspect the hanger, corners, blister seal and back separately; a clean car does not mean the card is equally clean.
