Look closely at the white stripes where they meet the hood edges. Misalignment, chips and rubbing are easier to spot with the hood closed and photographed straight from above.
For a packaged example, examine the blister around the raised hood and rear wing. On a loose car, request a rear view showing the plate and both wing supports.
