Choosing one for your collection
Inspect the white stripe around the rear quarter and roof for rubbed edges. Request a close view of the front grille and both headlight areas, where glare can conceal small marks.
If the car is loose, check the underside and axle ends as well as the paint. A red body with a white stripe alone is not enough to establish that the wheels and finish are original.
