2018 Ford Mustang RTR Spec 5 Collector Guide
The RTR Mustang gives you two very different collecting directions: busy drift liveries or a quieter gray street-style finish. The Monster and BC Racing cars lean hard into sponsor graphics, while the gray releases let the wide arches and large rear wing stand out. The multicolor Team Transport car is the loudest of the group.

What to look for
Release names sometimes use different Mustang model years, so the original packaging and livery are useful alongside the casting shape. The 2022 HCY71 two-pack contains two separate Mustang designs: black with green Monster accents, and black with gold BC Racing accents. Both have their own photo and variation page here.

Choosing one for your collection
Check the outer corners of the front splitter, the wing supports and the edges of the wide rear fenders. These are the parts most exposed when a loose car is handled or stored against another model.
For similar Monster releases, retain the original packaging when available. A loose car with matching paint and wheels may not establish whether it came from a single card or a two-pack.

Why are there two HCY71 entries?
The pack contains two different RTR Mustang liveries. Sharing a pack number does not make the cars identical.
