1986 Nissan 720 King Cab Collector Guide
The little Nissan looks like a lowered custom pickup until the rear body lifts away from the chassis. Underneath is a wall of speakers and a tiny display. That posable bed is the reason to leave this one room in the cabinet: the closed and raised positions give it two very different silhouettes.

Both pictured RLC releases use the same show-truck idea, but they are easy to tell apart. The purple 2024 truck has simpler sides and five-spoke wheels. The steel blue 2026 edition adds flowing light blue graphics, six-spoke wheels, and a Hot Wheels Legends Tour display graphic.

Choosing one for your collection
Check the rear assembly in both its lowered and raised positions. A seller’s single photograph with the bed up will not show whether it settles evenly when closed. Look along the panel edges for chips, and handle the moving parts gently rather than forcing the assembly into position.
The tiny speaker and screen details are part of the appeal. Ask for a clear view of them, then inspect the cab roof, grille, and bright wheel faces. If an acrylic display case is included, check its cover for scratches separately from the condition of the truck.
