1970 Dodge Charger Collector Guide
This is the tall, tough-looking Charger from Furious 7, with large off-road wheels and spare tires behind the cabin. All five releases here are black, so paint color will not sort them out for you. The card, wheels and base become much more useful clues.

What to look for
The first two cars came on Experimotors and HW Screen Time cards. Fast Superstars brought a premium version in 2021, followed by Baja Blazers in 2022 and the numbered Fast & Furious series in 2023. This family is separate from the short, exaggerated Toon’d Charger.

Choosing one for your collection
Check the wheel alignment, front bumper and spare-tire detail. A level side view makes it easier to judge the off-road stance than a photograph looking down on the roof.
The early black releases can look identical loose. Keep original card photographs where possible, and do not invent a release year from the casting copyright date underneath.
Collector questions
Are all black 1970 Chargers the same Hot Wheels casting?
No. This guide follows the Furious 7 off-road Charger. Road-car and Toon’d Chargers have different proportions and should be compared within their own families.
