Beach Bomb Pickup Collector Guide
The Beach Bomb Pickup has more going on than a color checklist suggests. Some releases carry their surfboards above a covered bed; others place them down inside an open bed. That difference is worth checking before the ghost flames, flowers or arcade graphics steal your attention.

What to look for
The five releases here run from the pink 2006 Neo-Classics car to the blue Asteroids Comic-Con edition. Yellow and purple examples show the open-bed form, while pink, red and Asteroids examples use the covered-bed layout.

Choosing one for your collection
Ask for an overhead photo showing both surfboards and the bed. It is the most useful angle for checking the version and spotting damaged or missing parts.
This is the later Beach Bomb Pickup collectible. Do not confuse it with the famous early rear-loading Beach Bomb prototype; the shared family name does not give them the same history or value.

Why do the surfboards sit differently?
The documented releases use two bed layouts. Compare the actual bed and boards with the matching release photograph rather than assuming one is incomplete.
