Choosing one for your collection
Check that every blade tip is present and that the clear stand is included. Request a separate stand photograph if it is hard to see against the seller’s background.
Look for cracks at the narrow tail and marks on the glazing. The helicopter should be held by its body during inspection, not by the projecting rotor blades.
Collector questions
Can I date a loose JBL56 from its black-and-white finish?
Not reliably. The 2025 and 2026 versions share that finish. Original packaging and base markings provide better supporting evidence for dating an example.
