Description
Route a tram line to the left with Kato 40-212-E. This N gauge UNITRAM-E electric turnout has a plain grey, textured road surface without printed lane markings, making it suitable for an asphalt-style scene or a customized street layout.
Turnout details
- Left-hand turnout plate with a 180 mm curve radius.
- Built-in electric point machine concealed within the track plate.
- Setting screw selects power-routing or non-power-routing operation to suit the layout.
- The manufacturer permits spring-point operation in the non-power-routing setting.
- Includes one turnout plate, three tram joiners and one 900 mm turnout cord.
Installation
Connect to compatible UNITRAM track plates and wire the turnout following Kato’s instructions. Set the current-routing screw before operating the layout. This is the unprinted E-series version, not the standard road-marked 40-212 turnout. Trams, controller, additional track, road plates and catenary poles are sold separately.
