Variation Summary
Choosing one for your collection
Look for glossy rub marks on the matte surfaces. Handling wear can change the sheen even when no metal is exposed.
Avoid judging the body from a photo with crushed shadows. The front opening and cockpit edges should remain visible enough to inspect.
Collector questions
What is different about the black car’s finish?
HCX71 uses matte black rather than the metallic or reflective finishes seen on several other releases.
