1948 Chevrolet Fleetline Collector Guide
The Fleetline’s long roof curve, covered rear wheels, and heavy bright trim give it a low, flowing shape. The yellow-and-brown version has a warm custom-car look. The chrome chase turns those same curves into reflections, with a black roof providing the contrast.

A low Fleetline with plenty of brightwork
Both 2026 versions have adjustable suspension, so their stance can change without changing the casting. The standard car combines yellow Spectraflame paint with a brown roof and gold-toned wheels. The chase wears a chrome body, black roof, and chrome wheels. Both use JJY66, so the code alone does not separate them.

Choosing one for your collection
Check the suspension in a level position as well as any raised display stance. A photograph with one end lifted can hide whether the car sits evenly. The visor, mirrors, and broad bumper edges also deserve close views before handling or buying a loose example.
On either finish, soft light is more useful than a bright flash. Strong reflections can hide marks along the fenders. Keep the two editions separate in your notes: color, roof, wheels, and plaque distinguish them even though their product code is shared.
