2 Cool (Hardnoze) Collector Guide
The tiny cabin sits between a pointed nose and two enormous engine scoops. Large rear wheels make the Hardnoze proportions even more exaggerated. Purple, bare metal, brown and red releases give this unusual car four very different looks.

What to look for
This is the Hardnoze casting introduced in the 2004 First Editions. The purple and ZAMAC cars share B3565 but have different body finishes. The Toy Fair version adds gold-colored trim, while the red car came in the Wastelanders five-pack. The unrelated purple McDonald’s toy from 1994 now has a separate guide.

Choosing one for your collection
Look at the engine scoops and the long pointed front. They stand proud of the body and can show wear even when the broad side panels still look clean.
Check the wheel finish closely. Bright chrome and gold-colored surfaces often show rubbing first around their outer edges.
Collector questions
Are the purple and ZAMAC B3565 cars duplicates?
No. They share a release code, but one has purple paint and the other has an unpainted metal body. The two photographs and guides keep that difference visible.
