1996 Dodge Viper GTS Collector Guide
The GTS shape works especially well with stripes: a long hood, a small cabin and the familiar double-bubble roof. Blue and yellow give this casting two straightforward road-car looks. The black 27 car adds checks and sponsor-style lettering for a more crowded racing finish.

What to look for
The blue HYW50 and yellow JBB95 are 2025 Then and Now releases, both using five-spoke wheels. Black JJK50 joins HW Torque in 2026 with gray ten-spoke wheels. This guide follows the newer 1996 GTS casting, not every earlier Hot Wheels Viper.

Choosing one for your collection
Look down the center of the hood and roof to judge the stripes, then check the nose and rear light printing. Those small details do a lot of work on the plain road-car colors.
The wheels are useful identification clues. A neat wheel swap can change the feel of the car, but it should not be mistaken for one of the factory combinations shown here.

No. It is the model year in the casting name. The pictured Hot Wheels releases are from 2025 and 2026.
