Product details

Check an HO model’s coupler setup with the Kadee 205 metal gauge kit. The gauge provides a fixed comparison for coupler height and helps check trip-pin clearance, between-the-rails uncoupler height and HO track width.

Features and contents

  • HO-scale metal multi-purpose gauge; assembly required.
  • Includes one uncolored gauge base, one No. 5 coupler and one No. 58 scale-head coupler.
  • Also includes ten 0.015-inch red fiber washers, two No. 622 springs, two No. 625 springs and a mounting screw.
  • Movable dowel for checking the height of suitable Kadee Magne-Matic uncouplers.
  • Track is not included.

Installation and use

This metal gauge is not insulated. Use it only on unpowered track or with track power completely switched off. Assemble the gauge following the supplied instructions and compare coupler centerlines, not the tops of the knuckles. Small parts: intended for modelers ages 14 and older. Manufacturer warning: cancer and reproductive harm.
