Product details

Change the direction of a connected model-railway feeder with the Kato 24-851BK power direction switch. The black housing matches the updated Kato control accessories while retaining the function of the earlier reversing switch.

Control and compatibility

  • Manufacturer: Kato; part 24-851BK.
  • Manual switch changes the polarity supplied to the connected feeder track.
  • Useful in layouts with an electric turntable or a reversing section.
  • Can be used with the Kato EC-1 controller to change direction while leaving the EC-1 reversing handle in its forward position.
  • Package contains one black switch, one connector and circuit-number stickers.

Installation

Connect according to the Kato instructions and seat the switch firmly against the compatible power pack’s right-side snap terminals. This is a manual polarity switch, not an automatic reversing module. Power pack, track and trains are not included.
