Use a PECO PL-10 type point motor above the layout baseboard with the PL-12 adaptor base. This assembled base is intended for locations where access underneath the board is impractical.
Features and contents
- Adaptor base for surface-mounting a PL-10 type turnout motor.
- Supplied assembled with a removable over-centre spring.
- The spring can provide latching for compatible turnouts without their own over-centre action.
- Includes an optional extension arm for the linkage.
Fitting and compatibility
Attach and align the base, motor and linkage to suit the turnout, then check free movement before wiring the motor. Follow the fitting instructions when deciding whether to retain the spring. The PL-10 motor, turnout, wiring and controls are separate items; this listing is for the adaptor, not an electric point motor.
