Add the distinctive operating feature of a catch point with PECO SL-185. This short left-hand Code 75 track unit models the railway device intended to derail a runaway siding vehicle before it reaches a main route.

  • Left-hand catch turnout, 91 mm long.
  • OO/HO Streamline Code 75 format with an insulated frog.
  • This is a catch point, not a conventional branching turnout. Plan a clear derailment area as part of the model scene.
  • Check older rolling stock for deep wheel flanges that may foul Code 75 rail fixings.
  • Use a suitable transition section, such as PECO SL-113, when connecting to Code 100 rail; transition track is separate.
