ACME AAR Cuda: Ivy Green Standard Roof vs Black Vinyl Top

Choose A1806140VT for the Ivy Green AAR Cuda with the explicitly described black vinyl-top treatment; choose A1806140 for the offer without that black vinyl-top designation. The roof presentation is the central documented difference. These are not two different engine trims or a standard and upgraded performance tier.
Identify the two Ivy Green releases
The A1806140 AAR Cuda lists Ivy Green Metallic, black stripes and a green interior. The A1806140VT version adds the black vinyl top to that named combination.
A roof can dominate the view of a small model on a shelf below eye level. Choose the black-top version when that contrast is important, or the non-VT offer when it better matches the car you intend to represent. Compare the complete roof-and-body photograph rather than only the shared Ivy Green title.
The listed mechanical subjects are shared
Both descriptions identify the 1970 AAR Cuda, a 340 engine, Rallye wheels and a green cabin. Each specifies opening hood, doors and trunk, steerable wheels, chassis detail and a wired and plumbed engine.
That gives a buyer interested in the engine or cabin a documented set of viewing features in either version. There is no basis in these listings for assuming that VT adds a different engine, more opening panels or improved steering.
For a HEMI-specific collection, neither of these 340-identified models should be substituted merely because the Cuda name is familiar. Trim and represented engine matter as much as the paint.
Vinyl top is not a removable-roof promise
The black vinyl-top wording identifies the offered finish. It does not establish that the miniature uses real automotive roof material or that the roof can be detached. The confirmed opening features are the hood, doors and trunk.
Buy the VT car for its completed appearance, not as a source of a loose roof accessory. Trying to remove an unconfirmed part is unnecessary for the comparison these two releases offer.
Check the display and edition details
Both models are listed at 1:18 and approximately 10.5 inches long, 4 wide and 3 high, with rubber tires and diecast construction incorporating plastic parts. Leave additional clearance for open panels and handling rather than buying a case with exactly those internal measurements.
A1806140 is advertised as a 576-piece release; A1806140VT as 448 pieces. Those numbers identify the stated miniature editions. They are not remaining stock, and a smaller production figure alone does not make the VT car a better purchase.
Choose the roof treatment you want to see every day, record the complete code including VT when applicable, and check current price and availability in the ACME collection at Muncle Mikes.
