Oxford N-Scale Farm Models: Fordson Tractor and Livestock Trailer Fit

Oxford's green Fordson tractor and red livestock trailer share 1:148 N scale, but that does not prove they physically couple or carry a particular load. Choose a farm scene around confirmed identities and measured fittings.
Two separate farm subjects
NTRAC002 identifies the green Fordson with orange wheels. NFARM004 identifies a red livestock trailer. They are separate offers, not a documented matched tractor-and-trailer set.
The shared scale makes them candidates for the same numerical layout category. It does not establish hitch geometry, drawbar height, rolling functions or compatibility with animals and figures from another package.

Static scene or connected arrangement
For a parked farmyard display, the trailer can sit independently near the tractor without pretending a functional connection has been tested. If towing is essential, compare the actual fittings before purchase or modification.
Measure the trailer's usable space before adding a load, and avoid assuming gates open because a livestock trailer commonly has them at full size. The current records do not verify opening gates or the older dimensions. N-scale terminology can also cover another ratio, so retain 1:148 when matching barns, road widths and adjacent vehicles.
| Model or set | Stated scale | Item reference |
|---|---|---|
| Fordson Tractor Green/Orange – Oxford 1:148 | 1:148 | NTRAC002 |
| Livestock Trailer Red – Oxford 1:148 | 1:148 | NFARM004 |

Choose the Fordson and trailer for their named farm subjects, then verify coupling and load requirements independently. A coherent static scene is preferable to an unsupported fit promise.
Verify the exact Oxford release and scale
Use the Oxford item reference, stated scale, vehicle or aircraft identity, livery and any named load, stand or accessory when checking Oxford N-Scale Farm Models: Fordson Tractor and Livestock Trailer Fit. Similar subjects can appear in multiple scales or decorations, so the exact release should control your comparison.
Fit the model to the scene, era and available space
Check actual dimensions when available and consider road width, platform clearance, trailer length, wingspan or roof loads before placing the model. For railway scenes, match the vehicle era and scale deliberately; for aircraft, allow clearance for stands and wings rather than relying only on the scale label.
Record the tractor and trailer item references together when the pair is intended to share one layout scene.
