This page is devoted to 1950 Mercedes-Benz 170S Cabriolet Burgundy/Black – Signature Models 1:18, the exact scale model cars sold under the Signature Models record. The goal is practical identification: what the listing confirms, what remains unverified, and what a buyer or builder should compare before using the item.

Matching the exact listing

Identity should be established in layers: title first, then vendor, then SKU, then the photographed details. The scale marker 1:18 is part of the exact identity and should be matched before purchase. The year 1950 belongs to the listing identity; it should not automatically be treated as the manufacturing date of the item. For this record, F977-18123bur is the compact reference that can be checked against invoices and packaging.

The verified description in context

Current catalog evidence can be summarized as follows: “1950 Mercedes-Benz 170S Cabriolet in burgundy and black by Signature Models. This 1:18 scale diecast model is intended for collector display. Review the listing photos for the exact interior, trim, wheels and packaging. Item: 18123BUR.” Every additional recommendation in this guide is framed as a check or planning step when the listing itself does not confirm the answer.

Planning around the exact item

For a diecast or scale collectible, the subject name alone is insufficient. Compare body casting, finish, graphics, wheel design, interior, base markings and packaging format. On 1950 Mercedes-Benz 170S Cabriolet Burgundy/Black – Signature Models 1:18, the exact photo set and SKU F977-18123bur are the reference pair; a model with the same vehicle name but a different wheel, road number or package is a different release.

Condition language must also match the format. A loose item is judged from the photographed surfaces and axles, while a packaged item adds card, blister, box and seal condition. A finished custom should be assessed for workmanship and disclosed modifications; a build kit should be assessed for included parts and fitment rather than as a completed collectible.

Using the item with confidence

A good collection note records what is visible and avoids unsupported rarity claims. Write down the exact color wording, graphics, wheel treatment, package condition and any disclosed customization. Market value can change; the product identity should remain reproducible from the record.

Upon arrival, compare the item with the listing images before opening or altering it. Any material discrepancy is easier to document while the original packaging and shipping materials remain intact.

What to inspect in the product images

Review all 1 available image in sequence rather than judging the item from the first thumbnail. Front, side, reverse, package and detail views answer different questions. The record is strongest when those views agree with the title and SKU F977-18123bur.

Checks to complete before ordering

• Identity: title, vendor and SKU F977-18123bur agree.
• Contents: included pieces and quantity are explicit.
• Fit: scale, dimensions or interface match the intended use.
• Condition: the photographed state is acceptable for the project or collection.
• Transaction: current option, price and availability are confirmed.

Verification worksheet for this listing

Use F977-18123bur as the checkpoint for 1950 Mercedes-Benz 170S Cabriolet Burgundy/Black – Signature Models 1:18. Confirm the vendor name Signature Models, the product type Scale Model Cars, the selected variant and the photographed item before checkout. If a required size, scale, material, interface or included component is absent from the live record, write it down as unresolved and obtain the answer from the current instructions or manufacturer source.

After delivery, add a dated photograph and a brief result note. A builder can record fit, materials and finishing choices; a collector can record package and item condition; a user can record compatibility and care. Those details make the record genuinely product-specific while preventing a later observation from being confused with a factory specification.
