1999 Mercedes-Benz AMG CLK-GTR Roadster Gray Metallic – GT Spirit 1:18: Scale, Subject & Display Guide
1999 Mercedes-Benz AMG CLK-GTR Roadster Gray Metallic – GT Spirit 1:18 is the specific scale model cars represented by this listing from GT Spirit. This guide interprets the exact record—its title, SKU, photographed item, variant state and catalog context—rather than stretching a generic category article over the product.

The complete title is meaningful here, not decorative. The scale marker 1:18 is part of the exact identity and should be matched before purchase. The year 1999 belongs to the listing identity; it should not automatically be treated as the manufacturing date of the item. Keep F977-GT960 with the product record because abbreviated names often omit the detail that distinguishes one version from another.
Confirmed facts versus assumptions
The product page identifies the item this way: “1999 Mercedes-Benz AMG CLK-GTR Roadster Gray Metallic by GT Spirit. This 1:18 scale collector model is intended for collector display. Review the listing photos for the exact finish, trim, wheels and packaging. Item: GT960.” That excerpt anchors the guide, while the gallery, SKU and selected variant provide the remaining evidence needed for an exact match.
The category-specific decision
The most useful way to evaluate 1999 Mercedes-Benz AMG CLK-GTR Roadster Gray Metallic – GT Spirit 1:18 is to separate identity from condition. Identity comes from the subject, scale or casting, finish, graphics, wheels and SKU. Condition comes from the actual photographed surfaces, packaging and moving parts. Mixing those two questions can lead to a correct model being described with the wrong condition.
For this listing, F977-GT960 should be saved with the gallery. That preserves the release-level evidence even if similar editions later appear under shortened titles.
Second-pass inspection
A good collection note records what is visible and avoids unsupported rarity claims. Write down the exact color wording, graphics, wheel treatment, package condition and any disclosed customization. Market value can change; the product identity should remain reproducible from the record.
Upon arrival, compare the item with the listing images before opening or altering it. Any material discrepancy is easier to document while the original packaging and shipping materials remain intact.
Using the gallery as evidence
The gallery contains 3 indexed product images. Compare label text, package shape, visible contents, finish and any small identifying marks with the delivered item. A context image can show tools or related products that are not included, so the written record and selected option still control package contents.
The short decision checklist
- Save the listing URL under F977-GT960.
- Compare the product image with the expected subject or component.
- Check whether optional tools, motors, paint, batteries or accessories are separate.
- Verify the intended storage, display or installation space.
- Record any unanswered question before checkout.

Cataloging and project notes
Catalog the item under the complete title and F977-GT960, then add the date received and the condition actually observed. For a project item, note where it was installed or how it was used. For a collectible, note package and display condition separately.
Retaining the exact identifiers protects the record when product titles or availability later change.
Gift considerations
The exact title makes this a specific rather than universal gift. Confirm that the recipient wants this release, quantity and format; a closely related item may not be interchangeable.

Can a similar title be treated as the same release?
Not without matching F977-GT960 and the images. Similar subjects can differ by scale, finish, road number, quantity, interface or packaging.

Final check: the correct choice is the item whose title, SKU F977-GT960, image and variant state agree with the project or collection need. Where one of those elements does not match, continue comparing before ordering.
