AMMO by Mig Jimenez A.MIG-7168 Flesh Tones Acrylic Paint Set

Rather than repeating the catalog description for AMMO by Mig Jimenez A.MIG-7168 Flesh Tones Acrylic Paint Set 6 x 17ml, this guide turns the model paint sets listing into a decision record. It explains how the AMMO by Mig Jimenez item is identified, how the available evidence should be read, and where confirmation is still required.

Exact identity and distinguishing details

  • Exact product: AMMO by Mig Jimenez A.MIG-7168 Flesh Tones Acrylic Paint Set 6 x 17ml
  • Brand or vendor: AMMO by Mig Jimenez
  • Product type: Model Paint Sets
  • SKU or catalog key: MIG7168
  • Variants reviewed: 1
  • Product images indexed: 1

The recorded price at verification was $35.95 before shipping and tax. At least one variant was orderable when the record was checked.

The complete title is meaningful here, not decorative. For this item, the safest match uses the complete title, vendor, SKU, product type and image together. None of those identifiers should be replaced by a broad category assumption. Keep MIG7168 with the product record because abbreviated names often omit the detail that distinguishes one version from another.

Confirmed facts versus assumptions

The source description says: “AMMO by Mig Jimenez A.MIG-7168 Flesh Tones is a six-color acrylic paint set selected for painting realistic skin tones on figures and miniatures. Product Details Manufacturer: AMMO by Mig Jimenez Item: A.MIG-7168 SKU: MIG7168 Contents: 6 x 17 ml acrylic colors Application: Brush or airbrush The coordinated colors support base tones, shadows, highlights and transitions for faces, hands and other exposed skin areas.” This is useful evidence, but it is not expanded beyond what the listing supports. Missing dimensions, materials, compatibility claims or package contents remain open questions.

What matters for this kind of product

For a diecast or scale collectible, the subject name alone is insufficient. Compare body casting, finish, graphics, wheel design, interior, base markings and packaging format. On AMMO by Mig Jimenez A.MIG-7168 Flesh Tones Acrylic Paint Set 6 x 17ml, the exact photo set and SKU MIG7168 are the reference pair; a model with the same vehicle name but a different wheel, road number or package is a different release.

Condition language must also match the format. A loose item is judged from the photographed surfaces and axles, while a packaged item adds card, blister, box and seal condition. A finished custom should be assessed for workmanship and disclosed modifications; a build kit should be assessed for included parts and fitment rather than as a completed collectible.

Where similar listings differ

When comparing another example, line up the images in the same order and inspect one feature at a time: front view, side graphics, rear treatment, wheel pattern, roof or hood markings, base text and package. A difference in any of those areas can indicate a variation rather than an error.

For display, choose storage that supports the item without pressing on mirrors, spoilers, blister edges or axles. For a build, dry-fit wheels and moving parts before paint or permanent adhesive. The product format determines which of those checks applies.

Why the exact photo set matters

1 product image were available to the catalog at verification. Use them as item-level evidence: zoom in on the SKU, graphics, edges, connectors, part arrangement or package callouts relevant to this model paint sets. Do not substitute a generic manufacturer image when the exact listing supplies a more specific view.

A disciplined final review

  1. Save the listing URL under MIG7168.
  2. Compare the product image with the expected subject or component.
  3. Check whether optional tools, motors, paint, batteries or accessories are separate.
  4. Verify the intended storage, display or installation space.
  5. Record any unanswered question before checkout.
