This page is devoted to On-Air Figure 2 – American Diorama 1:24, the exact scale model figures sold under the American Diorama record. The goal is practical identification: what the listing confirms, what remains unverified, and what a buyer or builder should compare before using the item.

A correct match requires more than recognizing the brand. The scale marker 1:24 is part of the exact identity and should be matched before purchase. The SKU F977-24402 provides the most efficient cross-check when another listing uses slightly different punctuation or wording.
The verified description in context
The source description says: “American Diorama On-Air Figure 2 for 1:24 scale displays. This figure is designed for media, event and model-car dioramas. Review the listing photos for the exact pose, clothing, base and packaging. Item: 24402.” This is useful evidence, but it is not expanded beyond what the listing supports. Missing dimensions, materials, compatibility claims or package contents remain open questions.
The category-specific decision
Collectors should read On-Air Figure 2 – American Diorama 1:24 as a combination of casting, finish, release details and presentation. The useful comparison is not “same brand” but “same exact configuration.” Check the images for tampo placement, paint edges, wheel style, glass, base, stance and any included packaging before using another listing as a reference.
The SKU F977-24402 is especially important when the title contains a real-car year or model name. That year can describe the subject rather than the miniature’s release date, and two editions can share the same subject while differing in graphics, color or production series.
Where similar listings differ
A good collection note records what is visible and avoids unsupported rarity claims. Write down the exact color wording, graphics, wheel treatment, package condition and any disclosed customization. Market value can change; the product identity should remain reproducible from the record.
Upon arrival, compare the item with the listing images before opening or altering it. Any material discrepancy is easier to document while the original packaging and shipping materials remain intact.
What to inspect in the product images
The gallery contains 2 indexed product images. Compare label text, package shape, visible contents, finish and any small identifying marks with the delivered item. A context image can show tools or related products that are not included, so the written record and selected option still control package contents.

Why the complete record should be retained
