This item is best cataloged under its full name and F977-AD-19302. The scale marker 1:18 is part of the exact identity and should be matched before purchase. The year 1930 belongs to the listing identity; it should not automatically be treated as the manufacturing date of the item. The number 2 separates this release from visually similar versions. The quantity wording 18 Pack should be reconciled with the package photo and option selected. Manufacturer item AD-19302 is a stronger matching key than a shortened marketplace title. That combination protects against accidental substitutions when related products share a subject, color, scale or series.

What the current listing actually confirms

The source description says: “American Diorama Photographers Figure #2 This hand-painted polyresin American Diorama figure is designed for 1:18-scale buildings and dioramas. Four gallery images show the exact Photographers Figure #2 and blister packaging for manufacturer item AD-19302. Figure details Manufacturer: American Diorama Figure: Photographers Figure #2 Material: Hand-painted polyresin Approximate height: 3.75 inches Scale: 1:18 Packaging: Blister pack Quantity: One figure Manufacturer item: AD-19302 The pictured car is not included. Use manufacturer item AD-19302 and all four product photos to confirm the exact figure before ordering.” This is useful evidence, but it is not expanded beyond what the listing supports. Missing dimensions, materials, compatibility claims or package contents remain open questions.

Practical use and compatibility

Use a collector-style inspection on American Diorama Photographers Figure #2 – 1:18: confirm the casting silhouette, visible finish, graphic layout, wheel and tire combination, base details, interior color and package state shown. These details create the release identity. Price or brand recognition alone cannot establish that another car is equivalent.

If the item will be customized, photograph and record its starting condition first. If it will remain original, store it so metal edges, wheels and printed surfaces do not rub adjacent models. The decision depends on the exact item represented by F977-AD-19302, not on a generic diecast workflow.

Second-pass inspection

When comparing another example, line up the images in the same order and inspect one feature at a time: front view, side graphics, rear treatment, wheel pattern, roof or hood markings, base text and package. A difference in any of those areas can indicate a variation rather than an error.

For display, choose storage that supports the item without pressing on mirrors, spoilers, blister edges or axles. For a build, dry-fit wheels and moving parts before paint or permanent adhesive. The product format determines which of those checks applies.

What to inspect in the product images

Review all 3 available images in sequence rather than judging the item from the first thumbnail. Front, side, reverse, package and detail views answer different questions. The record is strongest when those views agree with the title and SKU F977-AD-19302.

Checks to complete before ordering

• Use the complete name, not a shortened marketplace label.
• Use F977-AD-19302 to prevent a near-match substitution.
• Read the variant and inventory state shown now.
• Confirm technical requirements from the current manufacturer source.
• Keep the receipt and one reference image with the product record.

How to document it after purchase

The permanent record should answer three questions: what exact item was bought, what arrived, and how it was used or stored. The title and F977-AD-19302 answer the first; arrival photographs answer the second; project or collection notes answer the third.

Keeping those layers separate improves future comparisons and avoids unsupported grading.

Gift considerations

As a gift, American Diorama Photographers Figure #2 – 1:18 is strongest when the recipient already uses this scale, format, subject or product family. Check for duplicates and fit-sensitive details before choosing it solely from the brand name.
