The complete title is meaningful here, not decorative. The scale marker 1:18 is part of the exact identity and should be matched before purchase. The number 1 separates this release from visually similar versions. Keep F977-78158 with the product record because abbreviated names often omit the detail that distinguishes one version from another.
Reading the source record carefully
The product page identifies the item this way: “Porsche 911 (930) Turbo "Blackbird" Black "Wangan Midnight - Comic #1 Version" Manga by AUTOart. This 1:18 scale collector model is intended for collector display. Review the listing photos for the exact finish, trim, wheels and packaging. Item: 78158.” That excerpt anchors the guide, while the gallery, SKU and selected variant provide the remaining evidence needed for an exact match.
How to evaluate this product type
The most useful way to evaluate Porsche 911 Turbo "Blackbird" Wangan Midnight Comic #1 | AUTOart 1:18 is to separate identity from condition. Identity comes from the subject, scale or casting, finish, graphics, wheels and SKU. Condition comes from the actual photographed surfaces, packaging and moving parts. Mixing those two questions can lead to a correct model being described with the wrong condition.
For this listing, F977-78158 should be saved with the gallery. That preserves the release-level evidence even if similar editions later appear under shortened titles.
Where similar listings differ
When comparing another example, line up the images in the same order and inspect one feature at a time: front view, side graphics, rear treatment, wheel pattern, roof or hood markings, base text and package. A difference in any of those areas can indicate a variation rather than an error.
For display, choose storage that supports the item without pressing on mirrors, spoilers, blister edges or axles. For a build, dry-fit wheels and moving parts before paint or permanent adhesive. The product format determines which of those checks applies.
Why the exact photo set matters
Review all 3 available images in sequence rather than judging the item from the first thumbnail. Front, side, reverse, package and detail views answer different questions. The record is strongest when those views agree with the title and SKU F977-78158.
Before committing the item to a project
- Save the listing URL under F977-78158.
- Compare the product image with the expected subject or component.
- Check whether optional tools, motors, paint, batteries or accessories are separate.
- Verify the intended storage, display or installation space.
- Record any unanswered question before checkout.

Recording this product accurately
The permanent record should answer three questions: what exact item was bought, what arrived, and how it was used or stored. The title and F977-78158 answer the first; arrival photographs answer the second; project or collection notes answer the third.
Keeping those layers separate improves future comparisons and avoids unsupported grading.
Gift considerations
The exact title makes this a specific rather than universal gift. Confirm that the recipient wants this release, quantity and format; a closely related item may not be interchangeable.

Decision record for future reference
The final purchase record for Porsche 911 Turbo "Blackbird" Wangan Midnight Comic #1 | AUTOart 1:18 should contain the vendor AUTOart, product type Scale Model Cars, SKU F977-78158, selected option, current price and the image used to verify the item. This set of evidence is more durable than a title alone and makes a later duplicate or replacement check much faster.
After arrival, compare the item with that evidence before discarding packaging or beginning work. Note any discrepancy, then record actual fit, condition or performance only after direct inspection.
