German Army GTK Boxer Green Camouflage – Schuco 1:87: Scale, Subject & Display Guide
Rather than repeating the catalog description for German Army GTK Boxer Green Camouflage – Schuco 1:87, this guide turns the scale model tanks listing into a decision record. It explains how the Schuco item is identified, how the available evidence should be read, and where confirmation is still required.
How this release is identified
- Exact product: German Army GTK Boxer Green Camouflage – Schuco 1:87
- Brand or vendor: Schuco
- Product type: Scale Model Tanks
- SKU or catalog key: F977-452680400
- Scale stated in the record: 1:87
- Variants reviewed: 1
- Product images indexed: 3
The recorded price at verification was $36.82 before shipping and tax. At least one variant was orderable when the record was checked.
The scale marker 1:87 is part of the exact identity and should be matched before purchase. The working catalog key is F977-452680400. That key should travel with the saved URL and product image so a later comparison does not collapse this item into another scale model tanks listing.
The verified description in context
The live record provides the following product-specific information: “German Army GTK Boxer armored vehicle in green camouflage by Schuco. This 1:87 HO scale diecast military model is intended for collector display. Review the listing photos for the exact camouflage, wheels and packaging. Item: 452680400.” The wording is treated as a source excerpt, not as a substitute for independent fit, scale or condition checks.
The category-specific decision
Collectors should read German Army GTK Boxer Green Camouflage – Schuco 1:87 as a combination of casting, finish, release details and presentation. The useful comparison is not “same brand” but “same exact configuration.” Check the images for tampo placement, paint edges, wheel style, glass, base, stance and any included packaging before using another listing as a reference.
The SKU F977-452680400 is especially important when the title contains a real-car year or model name. That year can describe the subject rather than the miniature’s release date, and two editions can share the same subject while differing in graphics, color or production series.
Where similar listings differ
The exact item should drive the decision. A collector seeking an original release, a builder seeking a donor casting and a gift buyer seeking a recognizable subject may all evaluate the same listing differently. Recording those intended uses prevents condition or packaging details from being overlooked.
Keep the invoice, SKU and one reference photograph with the collection record so the item can later be distinguished from a close variant.
What to inspect in the product images
Review all 3 available images in sequence rather than judging the item from the first thumbnail. Front, side, reverse, package and detail views answer different questions. The record is strongest when those views agree with the title and SKU F977-452680400.
A disciplined final review
- Save the listing URL under F977-452680400.
- Compare the product image with the expected subject or component.
- Check whether optional tools, motors, paint, batteries or accessories are separate.
- Verify the intended storage, display or installation space.
- Record any unanswered question before checkout.

Recording this product accurately
After purchase, store the acquisition date, price, seller, SKU F977-452680400, selected option and one clear image with the project or collection record. Add notes about fit, assembly, condition or performance only after they are observed on this exact item.
This separates verified ownership evidence from later opinion and makes a replacement or repeat purchase much easier.
Gift considerations
As a gift, German Army GTK Boxer Green Camouflage – Schuco 1:87 is strongest when the recipient already uses this scale, format, subject or product family. Check for duplicates and fit-sensitive details before choosing it solely from the brand name.

Product-specific verification note
The evidence trail for German Army GTK Boxer Green Camouflage – Schuco 1:87 should remain attached to SKU F977-452680400. Compare the product received with the saved image before opening, modifying or installing it. Record any stated variation, missing measurement, accessory or condition qualifier, then add observed results only after direct inspection. This final step keeps the article factual while making the ownership or project record reproducible.
Decision record for future reference
The final purchase record for German Army GTK Boxer Green Camouflage – Schuco 1:87 should contain the vendor Schuco, product type Scale Model Tanks, SKU F977-452680400, selected option, current price and the image used to verify the item. This set of evidence is more durable than a title alone and makes a later duplicate or replacement check much faster.
After arrival, compare the item with that evidence before discarding packaging or beginning work. Note any discrepancy, then record actual fit, condition or performance only after direct inspection. The resulting trail explains both the original offer and the owner’s later experience while keeping the article accurate, specific and reviewable.
