Custom Matchbox Off-Road Models: Scout, 4Runner or Teryx4?

For an off-road-themed Matchbox shelf, choose a body shape before choosing a wheel color. MM's completed customs include an International Scout 4X4, a 2018 Toyota 4Runner and a Kawasaki Teryx4. All three offers describe fitted off-road rubber tires, but the vehicles, decoration and installed wheel designs differ.
Compare the three offered builds
| Model | Listed body presentation | Installed wheel setup |
|---|---|---|
| International Scout 4X4 | Red, blue and white | Gray mag wheels; off-road rubber tires |
| 2018 Toyota 4Runner | Bright blue | Black six-spoke wheels; knobby rubber tires |
| Kawasaki Teryx4 | Metallic gray | Black six-spoke wheels; knobby rubber tires |
These are completed custom vehicles, not accessory packs. Matchbox is the original toy brand and Muncle Mikes is the customizer. Choose the exact listing whose body and fitted setup you want rather than expecting any vehicle in the group to arrive with an interchangeable set of spare tires.

The 4Runner emphasizes a closed SUV shape
The 4Runner description records dark-tinted glazing, black interior, molded roof rails and a dark sunroof panel, plus visible Toyota and 4Runner details. Inspect those areas in the gallery if the SUV body is your reason for choosing it. Molded roof rails do not promise an included rack accessory, and a dark roof panel does not establish a working sunroof.
The number 2018 is the represented vehicle year in the listing. It does not establish the toy's release year or make this custom an untouched factory edition.

The Teryx4 shows a different structure
The Teryx4 listing describes a black interior and roll cage, gray roof and bumpers, an open cargo bed and side graphics including number 26. These details create a different display from the closed SUV. View the upper structure and cargo area as well as the side photograph.
Do not assume an open cargo bed comes with separate cargo, or that the miniature has the full-size vehicle's off-road performance. The tires provide a visible custom treatment; actual miniature rolling function remains a separate question.
The Scout adds a third visual treatment
The red-blue-white Scout pairs its multicolor body with gray mag wheels. It can serve as a color accent beside the blue 4Runner and gray Teryx4. If you only want one model, choose the named vehicle you enjoy and the condition that meets your purpose rather than buying all three merely to complete a row.
Plan the display around measured fit
Use a flat base and removable terrain props. Measure each miniature before building a narrow trail, garage opening or carrier space. Leave clearance around the tires and body so you can lift the vehicle out without scraping it. Do not load or strain an old or modified component for a dramatic pose.
Inspect all gallery views for tire placement, visible condition and body alignment. If repeated rolling is important, confirm it separately. “Off-road tires” is not a guarantee that a custom will perform on a track or cross uneven scenery.
For your own wheel project, use the Matchbox measurement worksheet. The three completed setups illustrate different looks; they do not establish transferable axle lengths or tire sizes for another casting.
