The complete title is meaningful here, not decorative. For this item, the safest match uses the complete title, vendor, SKU, product type and image together. What the current listing actually confirms

The live record provides the following product-specific information: “Dry Grass Tufted Grass Mat (one 11.75" X 7.5" sheet) from Bachmann. Heartland lists this item as “DRY GRASS - GRASS MAT.” Manufacturer: Bachmann Manufacturer part number: 32925 Heartland item number: BAC32925 Scale: All Scales” The wording is treated as a source excerpt, not as a substitute for independent fit, scale or condition checks.

The category-specific decision

The title of Bachmann Dry Grass Tufted Grass Mat 11.75" x 7.5" – 32925 may contain scale, road number, body type or decoder family, but no single phrase settles compatibility. Use BAC32925 with the images and current documentation. A visually similar car can carry a different road number; a similarly named decoder can use a different interface.

Test new rolling stock or electronics on a controlled section before regular service. That isolates clearance, pickup, coupler-height and programming issues without disrupting the full layout.

A closer project or collection check

For electronics, do not connect the item until the locomotive or accessory wiring is documented. For rolling stock, check free rolling, wheel gauge and coupler height. For structures, make a paper footprint before cutting scenery. Each approach tests the highest-risk compatibility point first.

The live page remains the source for current price and availability; the roster remains the source for what the layout already owns.

Review all 1 available image in sequence rather than judging the item from the first thumbnail. Front, side, reverse, package and detail views answer different questions. The record is strongest when those views agree with the title and SKU BAC32925.
