This item is best cataloged under its full name and KOTKP293X. For this item, the safest match uses the complete title, vendor, SKU, product type and image together. None of those identifiers should be replaced by a broad category assumption. That combination protects against accidental substitutions when related products share a subject, color, scale or series.

Confirmed facts versus assumptions

The live record provides the following product-specific information: “Kotobukiya KP293X recreates Chirico’s Scopedog Turbo Custom from Armored Trooper VOTOMS: The Root of Ambition in compact D-Style proportions. This non-scale kit measures approximately 110 mm overall. An opening cockpit holds a chibi Chirico; regular and helmeted pilot versions are included. Moving visor and lens, extending punch arms and removable forearms support different displays. Replacement leg nozzles recreate jet roller dash; the feet have deployable turn picks. What matters for this kind of product

For a model-building product such as Kotobukiya KP293X D-Style Scopedog Turbo Custom Chirico Ver. Model Kit, begin with scale, subject, material and included components. The title and SKU KOTKP293X identify the exact release, but they do not automatically confirm paint colors, cement type, skill level or every tool required. Check the instructions and package contents before committing a finishing plan.

Dry fitting is the safest first operation when assembly is involved. It reveals alignment, mating surfaces and clearance without locking the project into an adhesive or paint sequence. Accessories and decals should be tested against the intended surface and scale before permanent application.

Using the item with confidence

Compatibility is often more important than brand familiarity. Styrene cement, cyanoacrylate, water-based paint, solvent paint and clear coats behave differently on different materials. Use the exact product instructions and a test piece whenever the material is not confirmed.

Record substitutions as part of the build log. That makes later repairs or a second build reproducible without misrepresenting the original package contents.

What to inspect in the product images

Review all 3 available images in sequence rather than judging the item from the first thumbnail. Front, side, reverse, package and detail views answer different questions. The record is strongest when those views agree with the title and SKU KOTKP293X.

Before committing the item to a project

1. Save the listing URL under KOTKP293X.
2. Compare the product image with the expected subject or component.
3. Check whether optional tools, motors, paint, batteries or accessories are separate.
4. Verify the intended storage, display or installation space.
5. Record any unanswered question before checkout.

How to document it after purchase

Catalog the item under the complete title and KOTKP293X, then add the date received and the condition actually observed. For a project item, note where it was installed or how it was used. For a collectible, note package and display condition separately.

Retaining the exact identifiers protects the record when product titles or availability later change.

Gift considerations

For gifting, the product image can verify the visual subject while the SKU KOTKP293X verifies the release. Both checks matter when the recipient collects small variations.
