Plastic Model Kits & Scale Model Kits

Shop plastic and scale model kits at Muncle Mikes across cars, trucks, aircraft, ships, military subjects, figures and specialty builds. Compare subject, brand, scale, assembly method and manufacturer reference before choosing a project.

Start with the subject or assembly style

Explore model car kits, aircraft model kits, ship and boat kits, military and armor kits, or horror and monster kits. For snap-assembly choices, compare the separate beginner and snap model-kit collection; check the age and skill guidance for each kit rather than assuming one difficulty level applies to the whole category.

Compare manufacturers and kit editions

Browse AMT, MPC, Revell, Tamiya, Airfix and Atlantis. A shared subject name does not guarantee the same edition, decals or optional parts. Use the manufacturer's reference and contents to distinguish releases.

Decide between an individual kit and a recurring club

An individual kit listing identifies the chosen subject. A subscription listing is a different purchase with a billing and delivery schedule. Compare plastic model-kit clubs and subscriptions separately and read the selected plan's terms and inclusions before choosing it.

Plan the materials and display space

Check the model's stated scale and finished dimensions, then review part count, decals, assembly requirements and materials. Do not assume paint, cement, tools or a display stand are included because an image shows a finished example. Match paint and finishing supplies, hobby tools and building materials to the kit instructions.

Model-kit buying questions

Does a finished product photograph mean the model arrives assembled?

No. Check the supplied format and kit contents. Photographs can show assembled and painted examples.

Are all scale-model kits made from the same material?

No. Check the material and construction method on the exact listing before selecting adhesives, preparation tools or finishing products.
