Lista de castings Hot Wheels 2021

The five-car Mattel Games mini-series

The Mattel Games group brings together '32 Ford #027, Zombot #046, Rodger Dodger #073, '55 Chevy Bel Air Gasser #121 and '10 Pro Stock Camaro #149. Rodger Dodger has a separate Super variant; belonging to the same series does not give the other models that chase designation.

Use the series filter to view the five numbered entries together. Browse Ford models, Camaro models and custom Hot Wheels gassers for related shopping, keeping aftermarket builds separate from factory releases.

2021 debuts and new-model classifications

Useful starting points include Raijin Express #102, Corvette C8.R #105, Mercedes-Benz 500 E #145, '94 Audi Avant RS2 #157, '99 Honda Civic Type R (EK9) #214 and McLaren F1 #235.

The New-model entries filter marks 49 positions tagged as new models in Hall's Guide. This is a stated reference classification, not a claim that each name, subject vehicle or related tooling first existed in 2021. Selected entries labeled Mainline debut are kept separate. Retools, new mainline configurations and first-ever castings should not be treated as interchangeable events.

Annual number, series position and chase code

The '71 Datsun 510 Super provides a useful example: 162/250 is its annual collector number, 4/10 is its HW J-Imports position, and GTD04 is the documented Super product code. None of those numbers is a production quantity. An ordinary Datsun in the same numbered position is not automatically a Super.

Chase codes in the table apply to the indicated TH or Super version. Do not copy that code into a record for a standard car or a different year's release without checking its own packaging. Record package information separately from what you can observe on an uncarded example.

Keep the three Civic entries separate

Honda Civic Si #063, 2018 Honda Civic Type R #186 and '99 Honda Civic Type R (EK9) #214 are distinct entries. The 2018 Type R is the 2021 Super-variant position, while the EK9 is a 2021 new-model entry. A later year's EK9 Super does not change the 2021 classification.

Retain generation and casting qualifiers when shopping. The Honda collection is a broad browsing route; the individual searches help separate the casting families. Check the pictured shape, graphics and wheels before filling a checklist gap.

Loose cars: condition and originality

Inspect paint edges, decoration wear, scratched windows, missing pieces, bent axles and signs of changes around the base fasteners. Check whether photographs show the exact item. A loose car is not automatically mint or factory-original; an attractive display piece is not a guarantee of track performance.

Browse loose Hot Wheels cars and compare the selected release against your missing numbered slot. A search can return several years and modified cars. Shorten an unsuccessful query to its distinctive casting name before concluding that nothing relevant is listed.

Carded cars: inspect the package separately

Look for blister cracks, lifting, possible resealing, creased cards, worn corners and label residue. Grade package condition separately from the car. Confirm the annual number, mini-series and version on the pictured card rather than relying on a shortened title.

The carded Hot Wheels and Matchbox collection includes both brands. Check the manufacturer, release, contents and current availability in the product listing.

DIY projects: choose the casting and check the parts

Start with the body shape you want to build, then inspect its condition, wheel openings and chassis clearance. Plan the preparation and tools before assembly. Wheel diameter, width and axle length need to suit the individual casting; similar names do not guarantee interchangeable components.

Start with Construye tu propio Hot Wheels DIY kits. Custom wheels, rubber tires and upgrade axles are sold separately. Original included components depend on the individual kit listing. Compare upgrades in the Hot Wheels and Matchbox wheels and tires collection.

Finished customs: record aftermarket changes

Read the stated changes to paint, graphics, wheels and stance, then inspect the photographed finish. “Custom” can also be part of a factory casting name; the name alone does not prove later modification.

Shop finished Custom Hot Wheels, custom-painted Hot Wheels or custom gassers for completed builds. Keep those changes separate from the original release record and any factory-chase classification.
