Casting history and naming
Introduced in the 2010 New Models line, this tool is also cataloged as Custom ’10 Camaro SS or Pro Stock Camaro. Those names describe the racing body, not an ordinary street Camaro with different paint. Its scoop and rear proportions provide immediate visual distinctions.
Later editions range from racing graphics to licensed themes. The yellow 2021 Mattel Games car carries Pictionary decoration; the 2016 Super uses a purple special finish. The black 2024 winter release adds seasonal artwork. Compare the car inside the blister, since card illustrations can use a different body color.

Condition checks before buying or cataloging
The scoop’s leading edge and rear wing are exposed during handling. Inspect both for paint loss and cracks, then examine bumper and wheel openings. A side photograph at wheel height shows whether the chassis sits straight or an axle has been bent.
Large rear wheels can rub against the body if an axle is distorted. Check rotation without forcing anything. On a 2016 Super candidate, photograph tire construction and rivets alongside the purple finish. For the winter package, use the actual blistered car rather than the artwork as the color reference.
Comparing value
Group sales by release and originality. Pictionary, winter-themed, and purple Super versions are not interchangeable. Include scoop, wing, axle, and package condition in the record so a later comparison can be reproduced.
