Mega G, Mega G+ and Super G+ are different chassis families
Identify the chassis first. Then match the wheelbase and exact manufacturer part number before buying a tune-up kit, rolling chassis or replacement component.
Do not buy maintenance parts by brand name alone
“AFX” describes the manufacturer path, not universal part fit. Mega G, Mega G+ and Super G+ labels identify different chassis families. A part supplied for one family should not be assumed to fit another.

A safe maintenance sequence
1. Confirm the system
Verify that the car is AFX HO and record the manufacturer part number from the car or listing.
2. Identify the chassis
Match Mega G, Mega G+ or Super G+. Do not infer the family from body shape alone.
3. Confirm wheelbase
Short and long chassis can use different fitment. The current Mega G+ rolling chassis is specifically 1.5 inches.
4. Inspect wear items
Look at pickup shoes, springs, rear tires, guide pin, gears and axle movement before replacing parts.
5. Change one variable
Replace or adjust one component at a time, then test the car so the result is measurable.
6. Follow manufacturer instructions
Use only approved cleaning and lubrication methods and keep liquids away from electrical components unless directed.
When a rolling chassis is the better purchase
A tune-up kit replaces selected wear items. A rolling chassis replaces the chassis assembly under a compatible body. Choose the rolling chassis only after verifying the body mount, chassis family and wheelbase.
