Choose the system first

HO and 1:32 are different shopping paths

Scale helps describe size, but it does not prove compatibility. AFX HO, Auto World HO and Scalextric 1:32 should be treated as identified systems with their own track, controls and parts.

Three verified MM shopping paths

AFX HO

The primary MM slot-car system, with individual cars, two premium complete race sets, a broad track selection and chassis-specific maintenance parts.

Auto World HO

The current MM selection consists of verified track and layout accessories. Follow the exact compatibility statement on each product page.

Shop Auto World HO →

Scalextric 1:32

Detailed individual cars identified by exact C-number, operating format and features such as lights or Digital Plug Ready status where verified.

What changes between the paths

Question AFX / Auto World HO Scalextric 1:32
Typical MM use Compact home racing, complete AFX systems, expansion track and HO components. Detailed 1:32 cars for compatible Scalextric layouts and collectors.
Track Match the exact AFX or stated Auto World/Tomy/AFX track compatibility. Use track and controls identified for the Scalextric system.
Parts Match AFX chassis family, wheelbase and part number. Match the exact Scalextric C-number and operating format.
Digital questions Current AFX listings are identified as analog. Some cars are analog, Digital Plug Ready or otherwise digital-compatible as stated on the exact listing.
Can equal scale prove fit? No. Manufacturer, system, track family and exact part number remain controlling.

Choose HO when compact system building is the goal

AFX HO offers the clearest complete ecosystem currently available at MM: cars, premium race sets, track pieces, barriers, clips and selected maintenance parts. Auto World HO adds a small verified track-accessory path, but every compatibility statement remains product-specific.

Choose Scalextric 1:32 when larger detailed cars are the goal

Scalextric products should be selected by exact vehicle, livery, C-number and operating format. An individual car does not include track, controllers or power equipment unless the listing explicitly states otherwise.
