Casting history and naming
The 2008 New Models listing places this casting under L9924. Early examples include blue, red, yellow, and gray. The model-year prefix therefore does not date a loose toy: the tool continued through later assortments with different finishes and graphics.
The 2013 Super Treasure Hunt combines Spectraflame red with white striping and Real Riders. The 2014 Road Trippin’ example uses its own red finish and road-themed decoration on distinctive illustrated packaging. Compare the complete car rather than assuming every red ZR1 is the more specialized release.

On a Super candidate, photograph tires close enough to show their construction. Check axle ends and rivets for alteration. A red body with replacement wheels should be described as modified unless its original configuration is established independently.
