1956 Corvette Collector Guide
Start with the package as well as the paint. The pink Corvette appeared on a numbered HW Screen Time card and a separate Barbie movie card; those are distinct releases even when the loose cars look alike. Blue and gray mainlines, a four-car premium set and a later Pop Culture issue add more choices.

What to look for
The useful comparison is basic versus premium, then the exact card or set. HKG52 and HPR54 share the pink-and-white look on different cards. HRL24 brings four colors together with metal chassis and Real Riders, while JBL79 returns to pink in Pop Culture packaging.

Choosing one for your collection
Look down into the open cabin and across the windscreen. A side photograph can miss marks on the seats or damage along the top edge of the clear screen.
Keep a card or a photograph of its code if release identity matters to you. A loose pink car cannot establish its original packaging on color alone.

Does every pink Corvette belong to the same release?
No. The numbered mainline, the special movie card and the premium editions have different release contexts. Use the card, wheels and chassis together.
