1968 Custom Plymouth Barracuda Collector Guide
This Barracuda sits low over a serious set of rear tires. The opening hood is worth a look, but the custom bodywork and wheel proportions are what separate it from a stock-looking Plymouth. Silver, teal and antifreeze green give the three editions here very different personalities.

What to look for
The silver HNL07 came on the 37th Collectors Convention card in 2023. Teal HWF13 followed for the RLC in 2024, and green JCP17 belongs to the 2025 sELECTIONs program. The latter adds a black roof and red-ringed wheels, so paint alone is not the whole comparison.

Choosing one for your collection
Inspect the hood edges with the panel closed as well as open. The hinge should not need to be forced, and the nose should still look tidy when the engine is covered.
Wide rear tires and projecting body edges deserve close photos. Ask for both sides; a clean convention card cannot tell you whether every tiny printed detail on the car is intact.
