What to look for
Japan Historics 3 introduced the white presentation. Boulevard #22 added the Mad Mike racing graphics, while the orange mainline was paired with a Super Treasure Hunt. The later J-Imports card has its own orange issue; Jay Leno’s Garage brings back the restrained white look.

Choosing one for your collection
Check the delicate bright trim around the nose and the edges of the wheel openings. On a decorated car, compare both door graphics before judging it from the cleaner side.
Keep the card if you collect release years. The white Japan Historics and Jay Leno cars are especially easy to confuse once separated from their packages.
