1957 Buick Collector Guide
The long roof and low stance give this Buick plenty of room for decoration. Some releases keep a classic custom-car look with two-tone panels and whitewalls; others turn the wagon into a rolling candy, cereal or ice-cream advertisement. The green Jungle Tours car is especially different from the polished ice-blue RLC version.

What to look for
Start with the roof as well as the sides. The Masters of the Universe release puts character artwork up top, while the Razzles cars use bright candy graphics around a white-and-yellow body. The two Razzles release entries share an exterior, so the 20-car-set provenance cannot be read from a loose car alone.

Choosing one for your collection
Inspect the long roof edges, thin pillars and large bumpers. On a low wagon, a front view is useful for spotting a bent axle that a side photograph can hide.
The roof artwork and small side lettering deserve their own close-up. A clean paint color does not guarantee that the finer printed details are unworn.
Collector questions
Are the two Razzles entries different paint schemes?
No. The 2009 P8570 and 2010 V0801 set entry share the white-and-yellow Razzles appearance. Original packaging is needed to establish the release.
