1963 Chevy Impala Collector Guide
The Impala’s broad sides and flat roof make a good canvas for pinstripes. Gold trim gives the maroon Auto Affinity car a formal look, while the Easter editions add bright colors and playful lettering. The raised Hi-Rakers car is the outlier, with oversized wheels and an orange interior.

What to look for
The two Easter cars are worth comparing together. N8539 is purple with pink-tinted windows; P0277 is magenta with orange-tinted windows. The old catalog’s P0277 color field described its pinstripes instead of the body, which made the pair harder to identify.

Choosing one for your collection
Check the long roof edges and thin windshield pillars. The big flat panels show rubs best in soft, angled light.
On the Auto Affinity cars, inspect the bright trim and wheel faces separately. A clean body can still have worn plated parts.
