’64 GMC Panel: casting info and complete collector guide
A release-by-release reference to the Hot Wheels panel truck, its identifying details and the variations collectors can compare.

About the casting
The ’64 GMC Panel is a 1:64 Hot Wheels delivery van designed by Rob Matthes. The R3756 casting debuted in 2010 in the Slick Rides assortment. Its upright panel body, broad side panels and low stance became a canvas for licensed character artwork, event decorations and collector series liveries.
Most releases use the R3756 reference. The 2016 holiday model is catalogued separately as DMH98 and is a notable retool: it adds an opening rear door and includes a matching snowmobile. Keep that physical change in mind when grouping the family.
How to identify a release
Start with the base or package code, then compare the year, series, body color, roof treatment, side graphics, interior, wheels and country mark. Several releases share a similar blue, copper or dark finish, so color alone is not enough. The photos and release table below connect each documented issue to its own record.

Physical details and packaging
The original R3756 family is predominantly metal-bodied with a plastic interior, clear or tinted windows and a mixture of standard and Real Riders wheels, depending on the issue. Premium and collector releases can add metal bases, redline or branded tires, licensed graphics and event packaging. DMH98 differs through its opening rear door and snowmobile accessory. Check the individual release record for the specific features documented for that example.
HWC Garage catalogs 15 distinct R3756-color releases; collector references add the separately tracked 2011 V0481 Real Riders issue and the 2016 DMH98 holiday retool. Duplicate catalog entries for V0481 describe the same physical release and are counted once here.
Research basis
Release identity and basic casting facts were checked against HWC Garage’s release catalog, Hot Wheels Collectors News’ series records, South Texas Diecast, 164custom convention records and established collector documentation. Production quantities are stated only where a source documents them. This guide records casting information and is not a sales listing.
