1969 Nissan Skyline Van Collector Guide
The Skyline Van trades the coupe’s short rear deck for a long roof and a nearly upright tailgate. That gives the decorators plenty of side panel to work with: plain pale green, restrained Advan stripes, comic artwork and Toyo Tires graphics all suit the same low wagon in different ways.

What to look for
Compare the two red releases carefully. The X-Men car has character artwork and yellow wheels; the Fast Wagons car uses white and blue side stripes with gray wheels. The purple Collector Edition adds number 1 and redline tires. Its reflective finish should not be confused with the red-painted cars under colored lighting.

Choosing one for your collection
Check the thin window pillars and the roof edges. The long flat roof can show storage rubs that are hard to see in a low side photograph.
A rear view helps assess the tailgate printing and bumper corners. For the Advan edition, establish whether the matching transporter is included rather than assuming the wagon photo represents a complete set.

Why is this wagon called a van?
The casting represents the commercial C10 Skyline wagon. Van is part of its Hot Wheels identity; it is distinct from the Skyline coupe castings.
