1994 Audi Avant RS2 Collector Guide
The RS2 rewards a closer look than its tidy wagon shape might suggest. Black mainline and Super Treasure Hunt cars share a series slot, two ZAMAC bodies differ around the fuel door, and the blue cars include both a debut release and companions to building sets. Wheels, body details and packaging matter as much as paint.

What to look for
Start with the wheel faces. The regular black car has AeroDisc wheels; the Super uses Real Riders and carries a rear TH mark. Gold-card Virtual Garage and white Forza racers add numbered liveries and metal bases. For the ZAMAC pair, inspect the right rear quarter rather than assuming every unpainted body is identical.

Choosing one for your collection
Inspect the roof rails, long roof edges and rear corners. A wagon gives you plenty of painted surface, and storage wear often shows along the highest edges first.
Ask for a right-side close-up when buying a particular ZAMAC body variation. A left-side photo cannot settle whether the fuel-door detail is present.
Collector questions
Can a blue loose car identify the MEGA release?
The Nogaro Blue MEGA companion is documented as visually identical to the debut GRX27. Its original packaging or provenance is needed to establish the HRY19 release; a matching loose body alone cannot do that.
