Hiway Hauler (1992)Identifying the 1995 edition
The green Photo Finish Hiway Hauler has a white cargo box with a New York picture panel. Its three axles and large cab belong to the later Hiway Hauler casting, so it needs a different comparison from the earlier truck with the same name.
New York on the cargo box
The Photo Finish truck is collector #335, item 13322, and number 4 of four in the series. The reference lists metallic-green paint, New York landmarks, a chrome Malaysia base and seven-spoke wheels.
The Statue of Liberty and skyline are visible in the pictured side panel. This loose example cannot prove the condition or originality of a separate package.
Check the box and all three axles
Look at the cargo-box corners and both large picture panels. Check the join between the box and chassis for damage or repairs. Photograph the rear rather than letting the display side stand in for a full inspection.
All three axles should be visible in a loose-car record. An overhead view helps reveal a twisted stance or a box that sits unevenly.
Keep the two Hiway Haulers separate
The earlier Hiway Hauler guide covers a different casting. Shared names and delivery-truck graphics do not make their parts or release histories interchangeable.
