Mini TruckThe 1995 series release
The Roarin’ Rods Mini Truck wears irregular black spots across a pale khaki body. Its low stance and broad rear body are quite different from the tall off-road vehicles in the series. The pictured example has Ultra Hots wheels.
Number 4 of four
Collector #302, item 13289, is the fourth Roarin’ Rods release. The catalog describes khaki paint, black spots and a black side logo, tan interior and tinted glazing.
Ultra Hots, five-spoke and seven-spoke versions are documented with khaki Malaysia bases. A five-spoke version with an orange Malaysia base is also listed. Look underneath before assigning the combination.
Check the spots and low edges
Inspect both sides for worn decoration and look along the low front corners. A dark patch in a distant photograph may be part of the pattern or a chip; a close-up should settle it.
The blister casts glare over the cab and bed. Ask for an overhead view of a loose truck to inspect those surfaces and the interior.
Compare each series vehicle on its own
The Street Roader carries tiger stripes and the Roll Patrol has zebra stripes. Their similar animal theme does not make their wheel or base specifications interchangeable.
