The Escalade with more than one look
The 2014 Color Shifters release combines the long ’07 Escalade body with flame decoration. Its card emphasizes the water-play feature, so the illustrated car and the toy need not look the same color in a single photograph. The flame layout, wheel style, and packaging are more useful together than a color name on its own.
BHR48 is the toy code associated with this edition. Keep it separate from the earlier Color Shifters Escalades with stars, circuitry, or creature-themed decoration. They share a casting name but have their own designs and release details.

Buying this Escalade
If the color-changing feature matters to you, ask a loose-car seller to demonstrate it and describe the conditions used. A still photograph can show the paint and decoration, but it cannot show whether the finish still changes as expected.
Inspect the flame printing and the surface of the body for scratches or rough patches. For a packaged example, look for blister cracks and staining on the card. Keep the toy’s visible condition and the condition of the packaging as two separate considerations.

Why does the artwork look different from the toy?
The card illustrates the Color Shifters feature. The toy can appear in a different color state, so use the decoration and edition details as well as the color.
Does a sealed blister prove the color-changing feature works?
No. It lets you inspect the visible condition while keeping the package intact, but it does not demonstrate the feature. A seller can only show that operation after the car is accessible.
