MUNCLE MIKES COLLECTOR GUIDE
2008 Mercedes CLK 63 AMG Black Series — 2026 JKF29
JKF29 is the Arctic White CLK from Power Trip 3/5. It shares the silver edition’s ten-spoke wheel design, but the white finish, darker glazing and catalog-reported gray interior distinguish it. The 2008 in the casting name is the represented car year, not this toy’s release year.
Identification reference. An exact-release completed-sale range is not available from the inspected published record.

Black Series is part of the Mercedes model name. It does not mean the toy must have black paint, nor does it identify an aftermarket custom. Both documented examples here are factory road-car editions.
Variation Summary
These two documented editions use the same catalog wheel family. Paint and package identity provide the quickest distinction; the reported glazing and interior help with loose-car comparison.

Request a close-up of the cabin when comparing interiors: heavily tinted windows can make gray seats appear black. Check white-painted edges for chips and discoloration separately from dust or shadows.
Packaging Details
| JBL07 original presentation | Single-car Boulevard premium blister card, #126 |
|---|---|
| JKF29 original presentation | Single-car Power Trip premium blister card, 3/5 |
| Pictured assortment identifiers | GJT68 on Boulevard; FPY86 on Power Trip |
| Exact edition identifiers | JBL07 / JKF29; assortment codes are shared across multiple models |
Boulevard 126 is a series number; Power Trip 3/5 is a position within that set. Neither is a production serial number or evidence of a limited edition. The white reference card also shows the Car Culture anniversary emblem; that visible packaging graphic does not establish a distinct regional variation by itself.
These front views corroborate series, color and package marks. No unseen barcode, card-back region or exact base stamp is asserted from them. Record loose, opened, resealed and originally sealed packaging separately.
Reference Photos
Each photograph represents a different edition. Card artwork and the actual car in the blister are separate visual evidence; these are not multiple angles of one specimen.

Condition and Originality
Inspect the arch lips, lower sill edges and front bumper corners for chips. Check the small light and trim printing and AMG plate decoration with a close-up of the toy itself. Package artwork cannot establish printing quality on the car inside.
Look at wheel-face scuffs, tire seating, axle alignment and base rivets before treating a loose car as an unmodified factory release. A wheel swap, repaint or interior swap should be recorded explicitly because it can disrupt the release-specific component combination.
For carded examples, grade the card, blister, seal and toy separately. Request a view of the hanger and card edges and note creasing, yellowing or separation. A clean reference photograph does not establish the condition of an offered example.
Completed-Sale Evidence and Value
No eligible exact-release completed-sale observations are attached to the inspected published records for JBL07 or JKF29. No numeric range, market trend or rarity claim is published here. Missing price evidence does not mean zero value.
Compare the correct edition, then keep loose and carded condition groups separate. A current retailer price, another CLK’s sale or the real car’s production figure is not completed-sale evidence for this toy. Read MM’s completed-sales value methodology.
Track Your Collection
Use Add to Collection on this page for your physical car, or select Want list in the entry form. Record quantity, condition, packaging, acquisition date/cost, storage and notes against this exact edition. Personal condition statements do not replace the public reference facts.
Collection entries currently use this browser’s storage. Review and export them in My Workspace or view My Portfolio. A printed reference guide is not independent authentication of an individual car.
Collector Questions
Is 2008 the Hot Wheels debut year?
No. It describes the represented Mercedes road car. The documented Hot Wheels debut is the 2025 JBL07 Boulevard release.
Why is Black Series silver or white?
Black Series is the model designation. The two documented factory finishes are silver and Arctic White.
Can ten-spoke wheels identify the edition alone?
No. Both releases use the same documented wheel family. Compare finish, package/code and glazing/interior together.
Does a reported base date code replace the toy code?
No. Date codes describe manufacturing timing and can span several batches. JBL07 and JKF29 identify the documented product editions; reported code examples are not a complete authentication rule.
Find Cars at MM
No exact active MM product match was returned for JBL07 or JKF29 in the catalog check. Search MM for CLK 63 listings and check the offered car’s finish, wheels, package identity and condition.
Explore the MM Mercedes-Benz hub. Loose Hot Wheels and finished customs are broader options. Modified cars need their own description and cannot stand in for factory-release sold comparisons.

Mattel’s product pages support the model/code and advertised premium construction; the Newsletter supports the two release years. Detailed interior, glazing, finish and date-code descriptions are attributed to the collector table and are not a fresh inspection of a base or cabin. These are two documented editions, not a claim that every running change or future release has been exhausted.
