Choosing one for your collection
Inspect the white number panels for scratches or missing printing. A chip on the roof can be easy to miss against a bright reflection, so ask for a second photograph under softer light. The bright front bumper should also be visible straight-on.
If you display it carded, check the printed 1/5 number and the blue car inside the blister. Look for lifting around the lower blister corners and creases crossing the cherry-blossom artwork.
