Show Us Your Build
Hobby Learning Center / Community
Share a finished custom diecast car, plastic model, train layout, slot-car setup, rocket build or display project with Muncle Mikes. Approved submissions can help another builder understand parts, fitment, finishing choices and the lessons that do not appear on a product box.
What to include
- A short project title
- The display name you want shown publicly, or a request to remain unnamed
- The exact product, casting, kit, set or project base
- Manufacturer and part number when known
- Parts, wheels, tires, track, scenery, motors, paint, decals or tools used
- Your experience level for this project
- Fitment, assembly or compatibility notes
- One practical tip for the next builder
- Clear photos of the completed work and any useful process details
How to begin a submission
- Open Contact Muncle Mikes.
- Use “Show Us Your Build” in the subject or first line.
- Send the project details listed above and state that the photos are ready.
- MM will provide the current photo-delivery route when the contact form itself does not support the required files.
- State clearly whether MM has permission to publish the text, photos and display name.
Permission and moderation
- Sending a project does not guarantee publication.
- MM will not publish a customer build without clear permission.
- Only submit photos and text you own or are authorized to share.
- Do not include private contact details, addresses, order records, license plates or other sensitive information in public-facing material.
- Submissions may be edited for spelling, length, safety, clarity and product identification without changing the builder’s meaning.
- Unsupported compatibility, rarity, value, performance or historical claims will not be published as verified facts.
- Unsafe instructions, prohibited activity, unrelated promotion, copied material and low-quality or misleading submissions may be rejected.
Where an approved build may appear
Depending on the project and permission granted, an approved submission may be shown in the MM build gallery, a relevant product or guide, the Collector Community, a verified collector record or the contributor’s Collector Workspace.
Help make the evidence useful
Photograph the full project, both sides where relevant, the underside or chassis when it explains fitment, and close-ups of modifications or problem areas. Separate what was measured or tested from what was supplied by a manufacturer. Mention failed attempts or adjustments when they can help the next builder avoid the same problem.
Before submitting
Confirm that the project is complete, the images are in focus, the product identity is accurate and every person whose work appears has agreed to the submission. Keep original image files until the review is finished.
