Fine-tune a suitable model-car mounting height with Kadee 209 insulating fiber washers. Their thin gray profile provides a small spacing increment where the mounting dimensions allow it.

Features and package contents

  • Forty-eight washers, equal to four dozen.
  • 0.010 inch thick, with 1/4-inch outside diameter and 1/8-inch inside diameter.
  • Gray vulcanized fiber; manufacturer specifies a UL 94 HB material rating.

Compatibility and installation

Check the fastener and mounting-post diameters before fitting. For an appropriate truck-and-bolster installation, use the washer as a spacer and then recheck coupler height, truck movement and screw engagement. The correct number depends on the model and required adjustment. Cars, trucks, fasteners and height gauge are not included.
